A Way Around
Well, I guess I've done my complaining and whining about my now canceled activity for the coming school year. Now I have to start finding ways around all of the blocks that have been appearing. I need to get some new ideas and ways to do what I planned in some format. Without the blogs and no Publisher, it won't be the same for sure. Ideas are welcome here :)

Guess I missed something. If Publisher is a problem have you thought about using Photo Story (free from www.microsoft.com) or Producer? You need Office on the machine and need to be running either XP or Vista for an OS to use them.
They do not do the same thing as Publisher, but are great programs. Also when I quit using Publisher I went to useing Power Point to design flyers and banners in. Just a couple of thoughts.
Thanks for the help. The only problem is that our tech guy allows NO software to be loaded. In fact, up until this year he wouldn't allow the google bar to be on our computers because it's "spyware". Now all the new computers have it. It's quite an uphill battle here!
I will check out your suggestion though and MIGHT just continue to install what I need and deal with the complaints later like I always have.

Ever thought of trading districts to a tech friendly district?? Not all are the same. We have a lot more freedom than you tell about and can even get help much of the time.
